From the campground just drive a few mintues to fish the Gauley River, Williams River, Cranberry River, Elk River, Back Fork of Elk River, or Cherry River! A valid West Virginia State Fishing License is required, along with a National Forest stamp, a Conservation stamp, and a trout stamp. We tent camped for $10 per night. The perfect place to watch the sun go down, to gaze at stars while the kids are catching fire flies or to cozy up around the fire. Dogs are permitted if on a leash at all times.
